That wedding shaming post was absolutely unhinged (there's no way it's real, right?) and it reminded me of the book Hey Ladies by Michelle Markowitz and Caroline Moss - a very fun, very quick read.
A "nope" on the Maine thing for me because (and I may be wrong) I'm guessing the denizens are pretty monochromatic. Also I am not a "have to drive 40 miles to get to a store" kind of guy.
But I 100 percent co-sign The Quilters. It's a reminder that even after people do terrible things, they are still human beings.
That bride's emails were amazing but the line that got me the most is when she states that only Catholic bridesmaids are allowed in the church ceremony and says "sowwy:(". I don't think I have ever actually seen someone write/type that. Wow!

The OP claimed to be one of the groom's men and I think it *could* be true.... but either way I'm entertained
Is the only Catholic bridesmaids a real thing? I've never heard of a church having that rule. And that bride would never be hearing from me again!
According to the person who posted it, the bride in question is 37 years old! An actual adult. I am AGOG.

And that Maine cottage is just perfect.
