MSP is so nice! It's definitely one of the better airports. My other top candidate is Portland, OR. I am also partial to the tiny Martha's Vineyard airport.

In terms of homeland favorites, I'm from New Mexico, and we take our chile very, very seriously. This extends to New Mexicans who find themselves expatriated elsewhere in the US -when you meet another New Mexican far from home, the first thing you ask each other is "do you have chile? Do you need chile?" One of you surely has some in your freezer and you immediately discuss your fave chile sources & chile guys.

I'm from Arizona originally and I also acknowledge the superiority of the New Mexico chili pepper. Hatch green chilis FTW.

I am obviously biased, but nowhere in my experience fosters community like New Orleans. It’s baked into the culture, and it is a joy.

I've never been to New Orleans -someday I'll have to get there!

I feel that one thing Pittsburgh does really well is take care of people. Several years ago, a new neighbor moved in just before Christmas. I went over with a loaded plate of Christmas cookies because I figured they hadn't had a moment to bake given the move. The recipient had moved from NYC and teared up when I handed over the plate, saying, "This would have never happened in New York." I told her, "Well, welcome to Pittsburgh."

I've done a bunch of Camila rides the past few weeks and am really into her energy - she's kooky in a very fun way.

She doesn't seem to take herself too seriously, which I always appreciate
